WHAT ARE WE?
|
In 1978 Harford Technical High School opened as a comprehensive high school offering technical and academic classes. We are located at 200 Thomas Run Road in Bel Air, directly across from the Harford Community College campus. WHAT DO WE HAVE TO OFFER? A full range of academic classes, including advanced placement, and honors is offered. In addition, nineteen different technical classes provide students with the opportunity to acquire skills necessary to meet the challenges of a changing technological world. There are numerous activities, organizations, and JV and varsity sports for student participation. WHAT ARE OUR ADVANTAGES? Students who come to Harford Tech find that there are many opportunities available to them. Those planning on college are academically prepared to continue their education as well as vocationally prepared with a career opportunity. In addition, a number of our programs qualify students for college and technical school credit. Students can also earn industry certifications in their career areas. The military offers opportunities for successful completion of many of our programs. Partnerships with several community employers provide employment and assistance for post-secondary education.
