Computer and Networking Technology

       Students will learn the basic electronic theories to support computer technicians. Students will have practical applications with basic DC/AC circuits and digital logic fundamentals.

Students will learn to install and maintain PC hardware. You will learn about system hardware components, their functions and what to do when failures occur.

Students will learn to work with various MS Windows Operating Systems. You will gain experience in installing and managing the Windows family of operating systems. You will learn to recognize and correct common operating system errors.

Students will learn the vendor independent networking skills and concepts that effect all aspects of networking, such as installing and configuring various Server/Client networks (Wired & Wireless). You will have opportunities to apply what you learn in practical situations through a series of hands-on labs.

After mastering the computer/network technician skills and concepts, you will been encouraged to take the A+ and NET+ exams at a testing center near you.
