The Harford Tech Speech and Debate Club

The Harford Tech Speech and Debate Club formerly The Forensic Club, is the ideal club for students who like to converse in a group, debate topics of interest, recite poetry and verse, and have a flair for the dramatic. Our club enables students to express themselves in many ways. Students have a chance to interact with peers of their own age from all over the Harford County area. Students get the chance to meet other students from high schools in the Harford County Area and make new friends. Not only is our club a chance to have fun, learn new and interesting ideas, to expand knowledge, meet and make new friends, but also to demonstrate an ability to orally interpret ideas and thoughts to others in a public forum. Students meet throughout the school year at hosting schools eight to nine times, exchanging and demonstrating thoughts and ideas.
